Swing and Lindy Hop blogs

So, I’ve been searching out some lindy hop blogs and other jazz dance blogs and figured I would mention a few of them here.

First there is Alain Wong’s dance blog. Alain Wong I’ve known for over three years. He was a student for a short time, and has blossomed into an amazingly versatile and talented dancer. He has a bevy of placements in competition and a wonderful spirit for the community.

Swingscene is one that I just stumbled on today. It has an interesting array of posts focused mostly around events on the Southern East Coast. Definitely worth checking out.

Naomi Uyama’s blog on Myspace is a fascinating set of posts from a world class dancer. They contain excellent insight on how we should approach our dancing, competition, the dance scene and other dancers. My advice is to read it; more than once.

Swing, Jazz and Blues is a blog is run by Henrik Eriksson out of Sweden. It contains a great deal of information about the music we dance to in the swing community, videos of dancers, and other things going on.

If you have found other blogs that aren’t mentioned here (or don’t show up in my blogroll) please let me know.
